Biography
Adrián Peñate Sánchez was a Research Associate in the Dynamic Robot Systems Group from 2018-19.
He received his PhD from the CSIC-UPC robotics lab Institut de Robòtica i Informàtica Industrial in Barcelona as a PhD candidate of the Spanish National Scientific Research Council under the supervision of Juan Andrade Cetto and Francesc Moreno Noguer. In 2012 and 2013 he stayed several weeks at Idiap Research Institute under the supervision of François Fleuret. In 2014 he joined the Computer Vision group at Toshiba’s Cambridge Research Laboratory for a 5 month internship. From Nov 2015 till the end of 2017 he was a Research Associate with Lourdes Agapito at UCL working between the fields of 3D Computer Vision and Machine Learning.
