Paul Amayo

Alumni

Biography

Paul joined the Mobile Robotics Group in 2014 as a DPhil student in Linacre College, on the Rhodes Scholarship. He completed his undergraduate degree in Mechatronics at the University of Cape Town in 2013.

Paul’s interests lay in low-cost robotics specifically putting it to use in the African context. He worked on mapping with a focus on optimisation.
